If there’s one thing Katie Padgett knows, it’s how to make clients more efficient. In fact, as ACOM Health’s Senior Billing Manager, it’s downright thrilling for her to tweak a client’s billing workflow and translate that into additional practice revenue – without having to increase patient visits.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Katie joined the ACOM Health team in 2015, and leads the Billing Managers in servicing the needs of Billing clients. She has expertise in managing high-volume billing departments, specializing in increased profits. Her strengths include revenue cycle management, financial auditing, workflow consulting, financial analysis, budgeting, cash management, and internal and external reporting. She also has prior experience in physician office setting.

When out of the office, Katie is most likely spending time at her favorite lake, camping and boating with her family and dogs. In fact, her passion for being outdoors is reflected by her fondness for flip flops and chapstick – she’d be lost without them. In addition, she enjoys cheering for her daughter on the lacrosse field, and volunteering for animal rescue organizations.
